Dr. Vinay Gunther is the Authentic Relationships Head at Qineticare and has been in private practice since 1986. His life experience includes theatre and clowning, street theatre, community activism, and meditation philosophy and practice since 1973. He has run several businesses including a vegetarian cafe, a sign writing business, and a food coop.

He founded a Gestalt Institute in Australia, and has been running this program in China for the last 7 years. He has taught in many countries around the world including South Korea, Japan, New Zealand, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, the USA, Ireland, Finland, South Africa and Egypt. He was professor of Spiritual Psychology at Ryokan College in Los Angeles, and is author of a bestseller titled The Woman In Your Life – A Man’s Guide to a Happy Relationship, published in 4 languages.

He has been an accredited career counsellor since 1993, and developed a unique system called Career Decision Coaching. In addition to being an accredited Gestalt therapist, he is also trained in Family therapy, NLP, Somatic psychotherapy, Narrative therapy and Family constellations. Dr. Gunther has 5 grown children and 4 grandchildren. He is interested in systems theory and cybernetics, and has completed a PhD on the interpersonal dimensions of power.
