Dear Friends,
How are you and your family?
Typhoon 10 in Hong Kong last month felt like an expression of the world moving through a storm before a new way forward emerges.
Praying for all of humanity as we move through this.
I have had the honor and privilege to engage with families of influence this year on building trust to last 7 generations and beyond.
We are all doing our best, with the greatest of intentions, to build trust with others as we journey life together.
On a global scale and for many of us in family businesses, we see how challenging it is.
For those who want to improve trust with others, I nudge you to first consider focusing on developing trust in self. Get support to go inward to rebuild trust within to help you move through the challenges presented outwardly by life experiences.
Lets start with:
Are the beliefs you hold and grew up with (family, community, school, religion) serving you?
Are the familial patterns that are playing out generationally and from childhood supportive?
What is driving your behavior: nutrition, movement, work and relationships? Is it healthy?
As we align our core to embody trust within, we can slowly dip our toes into the next step, trust in life.
As we surrender to life, which is not an act of giving in or giving up but of being in full expression of our authentic selves, we relax into the gift and possibility of what life is showing us.
How do you feel you are doing in trust in self? Trust in life?
How is your family doing?
Do you feel that maybe slowing down and focusing on the foundation of trust in self and life may allow the process of trusting others to be more easeful?
Building trust in self and life invites us to lean into others and for them to do the same.
The dance of the me and we begins as we unite in flow to co-create a way forward aligned for generations to come.
Wish you an incredible last quarter living with clarity and intention as we come closer to the year end.
With love and gratitude,
Feisal

This Slow Movement Grows New Neurons and Repairs Old Ones
The article highlights that traditional Chinese exercises like Tai Chi and Qigong significantly increase brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) in middle-aged and older adults.
DNF supports neuron growth, repair, and cognitive sharpness. These exercises improve memory, executive function, reduce inflammation, and enhance sleep. They activate the parasympathetic nervous system and promote brain health with just 20-40 minutes of practice a few times weekly.

Imagine What Life Could Be If You Didn’t Overthink Everything – Naval Ravikant
“If you can keep the idea in front of you at all times that you’re going to die and that everything goes literally to zero, what’s there to stress about?”
The interview centers on how anxiety and overthinking hinder effectiveness and happiness, and how mindfulness, presence, and honest self-reflection can help overcome these challenges.
Naval emphasizes living fully in the present moment rather than ruminating on the past or worrying about the future, stating, “If you’re not there for it, if you’re stressed out or you’re anxious or you’re thinking about something else, you missed it.”
